Even though Keihoku is such far away from the city, happily we often have a lot of foreign guests.
And all who visit Keihoku are surprised by the beautiful scenery that is totally different from what they imagined when they heard the name of 'Kyoto'.
The other day, we had some special guests from Thailand, the Land of Smile.
They visited us not for sightseeing but for inspection to see what is happening in Keihoku as a model case of 'sustainable sightseeing area'.
That motivated us to give them our best hospitality.
At reception party, the foods were provided by a local catering service 'Rainbow Kitchen'.
The venue was a beautiful classical house, and it was decorated with colorful foods and wild flowers.
They stayed at classical Japanese style house where you can enjoy traditional life style.
Every scene of our daily lives becomes adventures for them.
There are not so many special sightseeing spots in Keihoku, while we have lots of things that have not been changed for hundreds of years, and that might be very 'special' in this 21st century, isn't it?
