Green meditation

Have you ever heard of a meditation called Vipassana meditation?

There are many ways to meditate, but this method was used when Buddha got enlightened.


In a nutshell, just sit and observe the body.

I took a 10 days Vipassana meditation course in Sri Lanka about 10 years ago when I was a backpacker and I still practice it whenever I feel like.


This course is open to anyone, regardless of religion or sect, and is attended and practiced by many people around the world.

In the course, you can meditate from morning to night. They serve delicious vegetarian meal was very good, but I ate too much and couldn't concentrate on meditating. Sitting all the time made my legs and back start getting hurt and I had a lot of thoughts go and back... It was tough. But it was a very good experience.

You can meditate any time if you learned it, and I think it's effective to survive this stressful society.


There are Vipassana Meditation Centers in Kyoto and Chiba in Japan and all over the world, so if you are interested, please join them.



I meditated with my daughter after the green exercise the other day.

It's probably more effective than meditation at home.

I think it's very hard for children to stay still.


We sat down for just five or six minutes. To be honest, it was unstable and hard to sit on the log.

There are various methods other than Vipassana meditation, so you should try them too.

You can find meditation books come with CDs, or find meditation reading on youtube, so you can easily start meditation.
